Education

Accreditation

Data collection

Education

GoodBirth Network advances midwifery-led care through education, training, and knowledge exchange. By providing technical assistance, workshops, conferences, and collaborative learning opportunities, we equip midwives, birth center leaders, and health systems with the tools and expertise needed to strengthen quality care, expand access to midwifery center services, and support sustainable maternal health outcomes worldwide.

Accreditation

GoodBirth Accreditation recognizes midwifery centers that demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, respectful, and evidence-based care.

Through a rigorous self-assessment and independent review process, accredited centers are evaluated against internationally recognized standards that promote safety, dignity, continuous quality improvement, and strong community integration.

Accreditation provides assurance to families, communities, healthcare partners, funders and health care systems that a center is meeting global standards of excellence in midwifery care.

Data Collection

Goodbirth Network supports midwifery centers in using data to improve quality of care, measure outcomes, and demonstrate impact. Through standardized indicators and global benchmarking, centers can strengthen evidence for the midwifery model, contribute to international learning, and support advocacy for greater recognition and investment in midwifery-led care.
